Application
At BCJC, we recognize that recovery extends far beyond substance use—it’s about healing from anything that has caused pain, trauma, brokenness, or disconnection. We strive to be a trauma-informed community that honors each person’s unique journey. By acknowledging the struggles we’re recovering from, we create space for unity, support, and hope. Recovery is a holistic process—one that includes healing physically, emotionally, spiritually, and relationally.
Recovery can occur from any of the following:
Abuse (physical, sexual, mental, emotional), Alcohol, Anxiety, Broken Marriage, Church Hurt/Trauma, Co-Dependency, Depression, Denial, Divorce, Drug Addiction, Eating Disorders, Fear, Financial Mismanagement, Grief, Gambling, Hate, Human Trafficking/Sex Work, Incarceration, Pride, Sex Addiction, Shame, Substance Misuse, Suicidal Ideation/Attempt or Self-Harming Behavior, Trauma, Pornography, PTSD/PTSI, Relationship Issues, Screen Addiction, Secrets, Self-worth, Smoking/Vaping, Tragic Loss
